Position Summary:
The Senior SRH Officer will provide state or location-level technical support, capacity building, quality assurance, and implementation follow-up for IRC's Impact@Scale Project in assigned government PHCs and IRC static facilities. The role supports voluntary access to modern contraception and prevention and management of postpartum haemorrhage through the E-MOTIVE Bundle.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and follow up competency-based training, coaching, mentorship, simulation drills, supportive supervision, refresher sessions, and post-training follow-up.
• Support providers to apply E-MOTIVE components for early detection, escalation, treatment, and referral of postpartum haemorrhage.
• Strengthen family-planning counselling, informed choice, method provision, infection prevention, documentation, follow-up, and referral.
• Use skills checklists, competency assessments, action trackers, job aids, algorithms, registers, and reporting tools.
• Build capacity in maternal and newborn health, antenatal and postnatal care, safe delivery, BEmONC readiness, post-abortion care, STI management, adolescent-responsive SRH, and referral coordination.
• Conduct facility supervision, assess quality and readiness, develop action plans, and follow up corrective actions.
• Monitor commodities, drugs, equipment, infection-prevention supplies, stock status, consumption, expiry, and stock-out risks.
• Review data, conduct data-quality checks, prepare reports, document lessons, and support performance improvement.
• Coordinate with facility leadership, LGA health authorities, government teams, IRC facilities, community teams, and partners.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, Community Health, Reproductive Health, Medicine, or a related field; 3–5 years of relevant experience; practical knowledge of voluntary contraception, PPH prevention and management, E-MOTIVE, maternal and newborn health, referral systems, supervision, training, data use, and commodity readiness. Ability to travel frequently in permitted areas.
