IPA Nigeria is seeking a MEL Associate in Kaduna, Nigeria, working within a partner government agency. This full-time role supports an embedded evidence lab serving social-protection programmes, including nutrition, education, conditional cash transfers, and livelihoods support. The position focuses on strengthening monitoring, evaluation and learning systems; improving data management; training and mentoring government staff; analysing programme data; creating dashboards and visualisations; and promoting evidence-informed decision-making. The role reports to the Manager, National Poverty Lab and may support other embedded-lab engagements.

Requirements: BA/BSc/HND in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies or a related field; at least three years of professional MEL experience; experience in social protection, poverty reduction or international development is an advantage; advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with Stata, R or SPSS; experience with Power BI or Tableau; and strong training, mentoring and capacity-building skills.
