About

This professional training program provides development practitioners with the essential knowledge and skills to address gender-based violence (GBV) within the Nigerian context. It covers the identification of various forms of violence, the root social drivers prevalent in local communities, and the critical legal instruments such as the VAPP Act. Participants will develop practical capacities for survivor-centered support and learn how to integrate GBV prevention into broader developmental initiatives. The curriculum aligns with the mission of the Centre for AID Information and Knowledge to facilitate professional learning and sustainable impact across the sector.
