The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian nationals for the position of Project Supervisor 3 (Positions) at its headquarters in Ibadan.

Contract: 3-year renewable contract.

Duties:
• Receive, review and analyse work orders and service requests to determine scope, priorities and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities among FMS units, contractors and stakeholders.
• Develop project work plans, schedules and cost estimates.
• Monitor project and work-order execution for timely delivery, budget control and required quality.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and administrative issues.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, drawings, specifications, safety requirements and organisational standards.
• Implement and monitor materials-standardisation protocols.
• Conduct site inspections and track progress against approved plans and performance targets.
• Prepare reports on service requests, project status, completed works, outstanding issues and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate project records and support continuous improvement.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in facilities management, corporate services, construction project management, operations coordination, research institutes, international organisations or corporate environments is desirable.
• Technical knowledge of civil and structural engineering and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
