The Security Manager advises the Representative and Country Office management on security responsibilities under the UN and UNICEF Security Framework of Accountability. The role leads security risk management and planning, security services, security information and analysis, networking and partnerships, compliance monitoring, innovation, knowledge management and capacity building, coordinating with the UN Security Management System, UNDSS, UN agencies and INGO partners.

Minimum requirements: Advanced university degree; at least eight years of professional experience in security risk management and/or security analysis; international security management experience in emergency and/or conflict contexts; understanding of the United Nations Security Management System; skills in security management, security analysis, risk management, security coordination, reporting and training; fluency in English. Desirable experience includes interagency security coordination, international NGOs, humanitarian access strategies, Saving Lives Together, residential security, security communications systems, and country-level work in humanitarian contexts.
