About INTERSOS
INTERSOS is an independent humanitarian organization that assists victims of natural disasters, armed conflicts and exclusion. Its activities are based on solidarity, justice, human dignity, equality of rights and opportunities, respect for diversity and coexistence, paying special attention to the most vulnerable people.

General context of the project
With over a decade of conflict, North-East Nigeria (Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states) and North-West Nigeria have faced devastating humanitarian consequences. According to the Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan 2025, an estimated 7.8 million women, men and children need humanitarian and protection assistance, while 2.3 million people have been forced to flee their homes. Food insecurity and malnutrition are worsened by inflation, poverty and restricted access due to insecurity. Gender-based violence remains a significant protection concern, basic infrastructure has been damaged, and flooding, overcrowding and epidemics such as cholera add further pressure.

INTERSOS supports the coordinated humanitarian response in Nigeria through multisectoral interventions in protection, health and nutrition, WASH, food security and livelihoods, and Camp Coordination and Camp Management, with funding support from OCHA, ECHO, WFP, SV and other donors.

General purpose of the position
In coordination with the SMT, MEAL, Program/Project Managers and Technical Coordinators, the Grants and Reporting Manager supports the design and development of project proposals, high-quality reporting and regular grants-management activities in line with INTERSOS goals, objectives, indicators and donor requirements.

Quality reporting: revise and harmonise monitoring and reporting templates; keep up to date with donor guidelines; maintain the Reporting Tracker; coordinate timely, compliant and consistent reports; check programme, finance and logistics figures; store reports and annexes correctly on the INTERSOS Management Platform; and communicate deadlines to relevant colleagues.

Grants implementation management: prepare project kick-off meetings; support partner capacity assessments and grant agreements; organise donor-guideline information sessions; support field monitoring and compliance spot checks; review project documentation and archiving; support project review and closure meetings; ensure amendments follow donor procedures; analyse and visualise programme data using Google Data Studio or other recommended tools; report deviations and trends; update the Mission Communication Plan; and support external communication products.
