Role: Learning Experience Designer

Travel: Up to 20% annually

The Learning Experience Designer will lead end-to-end learning design, from learner research and discovery through design, evaluation and continuous improvement. The role will translate subject-matter-expert content into engaging, accessible and learner-centred experiences that support onboarding, product adoption and capability development.

Key responsibilities: Design digital, blended and face-to-face learning experiences; create learner journeys, onboarding programmes, certification pathways, assessments and supporting resources; apply adult learning theory, evidence-based learning design and WCAG accessibility principles; develop inclusive multilingual learning; conduct learner research and needs analysis; use analytics and feedback to improve outcomes; audit learning ecosystems; develop standards, templates and governance processes; and collaborate with SMEs, Product Design, UX, product, clinical and partnership teams.

Experience and attributes: Experience in Learning Experience Design or Curriculum Design, teaching, training or facilitation; strong curriculum design, lesson planning, storyboarding and learning-content writing; ability to simplify complex technical concepts; knowledge of ADDIE, Kolb or similar methodologies; experience with assessments, certification and evaluation; collaboration with Product Design or UX teams in a software organisation; excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder-management skills; and a learner-first mindset.

Desirable: AI-assisted learning design, multimedia authoring tools, organisational change management, Agile delivery, a degree in Education or Applied Linguistics, and experience with SafetyCulture LMS or similar platforms.

4. Are you grounded in adult learning theory and methods such as ADDIE, Kolb experiential learning, or Knowles’ principles?
5. Have you designed learning outcomes, assessments, knowledge checks, certification pathways, or evaluation frameworks?
6. Do you have experience conducting learner research, needs analysis, skills-gap analysis, or using learner analytics and customer feedback to improve learning?
7. Have you designed inclusive, multilingual, accessible learning for global audiences with varying literacy, digital literacy, language, or cultural contexts?
8. Have you collaborated with Product Design, UX, software, clinical, or other multidisciplinary teams and worked with designs or prototypes such as Figma?
9. Do you have experience with AI-assisted learning design, multimedia authoring tools, organisational change, Agile delivery, or learning platforms such as SafetyCulture LMS?
10. Are you available for full-time remote work within UTC-1 to UTC+5, able to travel up to 20% annually, and willing to work overlapping hours from 11:00 to 16:00 UTC?
