About the role
The main objective of the Regional Humanitarian Access and Risk Advisor (HARA) is to improve the analysis, support operational management and access, safety, security capacity building of the MdM team working in 9 countries (DRC, CAR, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Sudan).

Key responsibilities (summary):
- Monitor and analyse political and security context; produce alerts and recommendations
- Maintain security monitoring tools and incident databases
- Build stakeholder network and represent MdM in coordination forums
- Guide missions on security risk management and humanitarian access
- Support incident/crisis management and lessons learned
- Deliver briefings and training; supervise Country HARAs

Work environment
Position based in Nigeria (Abuja) or Ethiopia (Addis Ababa); regular field visits (40%).

Employment conditions
Fixed-term contract (6 months), starting ASAP; gross monthly salary 3,663€; benefits include 13th month salary, allowances, travel coverage, guesthouse, health insurance, repatriation insurance.
