World Bank E&S and GBV Safeguards for Specialists in Nigeria NGO sector

This professional training curriculum prepares Environmental, Social and GBV Specialists to implement World Bank Environmental and Social Framework requirements in Nigerian development projects. It covers the ESMF, ESCP, Labour Management Procedures, Stakeholder Engagement Plan, SEA/SH Prevention and Response Action Plan, Healthcare Waste Management Plan, and project-level ESMPs. Participants learn to manage labour and OHS risks, pollution and healthcare waste, community health and safety, stakeholder engagement, GBV risk mitigation, grievance systems, survivor-centered referrals, and World Bank monitoring reports. The course uses practical applications for civil works, laboratory upgrades, and health facility settings.
