Role summary
The Health Manager reports to the Chief of Health and HIV and supports management of the Maternal, Neonatal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MNCAH) portfolio. Lead management, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of MNCAH outputs within the country programme, providing technical guidance and operational support using results-based management (RBM) approaches.

- Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building

Minimum requirements
- Education: Master’s (or equivalent) in public health or related health fields (e.g., pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, family health, epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy/management, etc.)
- Experience: 8+ years professional experience in public health planning/management, MNCH, communicable diseases (HIV/TB/malaria), or health emergency/humanitarian preparedness
- Skills: Monitoring & Evaluation, strategic planning, advocacy, programme management, partnership building
- Language: Fluency in English

Desirable
- Another UN language or local language
- Experience with global health initiatives (Global Fund, GFF, GAVI)
- Executive education in management/innovation/gender
- UN system experience; country-level experience in fragile/humanitarian contexts
