NORCAP works to improve aid and better protect and empower people affected by crisis and climate change by providing expertise and solutions to humanitarian, development and peace-building partners. PLRCAP (Promoting Local Response Capacities and Partnership) supports Nigerian local and national civil society organisations through organisational development, technical assistance, mentoring, learning opportunities, and institutional capacity strengthening. Through its NGO Support Hub, PLRCAP provides resources, expertise, peer learning, communities of practice, and partnership opportunities that help organisations strengthen their effectiveness and sustainability.

The Project Technical Assistant (Admin & Comms) provides day-to-day administrative and operational support while also supporting publicity and communications. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, procurement, scheduling, travel arrangements, meetings, documentation, project plans, calendars, action trackers, SharePoint records, programme documentation, NGO Support Hub content management and platform administration, digital and social media content, visual and multimedia content, learning resources, programme achievements, events, success stories, audience engagement, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications: University degree in Management, Social Sciences, Communications, or another relevant field; 1–2 years of experience in administration, operations, communications, project support, or procurement, preferably with an international NGO or humanitarian/development organisation. Experience with social media platforms, digital content, content management systems, analytics tools, Microsoft Office, Canva or Adobe Photoshop, and basic image/video editing is advantageous. Experience in localisation, humanitarian action, crisis recovery, community resilience, or civil society capacity strengthening is highly desirable.

Location: Abuja, Nigeria. Full-time, six-month national contract, with up to 15% travel within Nigeria. Reports to the PLRCAP Project Manager. This position is open exclusively to Nigerian citizens holding a valid Nigerian passport. A health certificate and background check are required before contract commencement.
